Jubin Amiri
Baritone Jubin Amiri is a native Viennese with Persian and Korean roots. He began his musical education at the age of 19 through private studies with Gordon Bovinet. He secured a place at the Richard Wagner Conservatory under the tutelage of Prof. Sylvia Edelmann and transferred to the Music and Art Private University of Vienna in 2018, studying with Prof. Melba Ramos. Additionally, he receives instruction from Alexandra Reinprecht.
In Austria, he has already been featured as a soloist on various prestigious stages, including the Theater an der Wien and the Seefestspiele Mörbisch. His role debut was as Dr.Falke in "Die Fledermaus." His operatic repertoire includes roles such as Belcore (Elisir d’amore), Schaunard (La Boheme), Gianni Schicchi (Gianni Schicchi), Papageno (Die Zauberflflöte) and Guilelmo (Cosi fan tute). In June 2023, he performed the baritone solo from Carl Orff's CARMINA BURANA in the grand hall of the Vienna Konzerthaus. International engagements have taken him to Germany, South Korea, and India. In 2022, he founded a Lied-Duo with pianist Donna Suenyan Chan. They made their debut in November 2023 at Steinway & Sons Vienna, featuring, among other pieces, Robert Schumann's Dichterliebe.
